The Lafayette Republican Executive Committee held its monthly meeting on November 14, 2011, at the Public Library in Mayo.  We were introduced to our new Victory Field Director, Gary Hollis, who is replacing Charles Steen.  Charles has accepted a position with RPOF in Tallahassee.  Welcome, Gary!  Enjoy your new job, Charles!

 

The LREC held its monthly meeting on January 9, 2012, at the Public Library in Mayo.  Rev. Brett Patterson from the Hatchbend Baptist Church was our special guest speaker.  Brother Patterson stressed the importance of returing to our core values as "One Nation, Under God . . . "

The LREC will hold its next meeting on February 13, at the Public Library in Mayo. Ted YoHo, candidate for US House of Representatives for the new District 3, will be our guest speaker.

PIONEER DAY in Mayo, Saturday, October 8 - This was our first "Outing" as a group, and our booth was a great success.  Thanks to everyone who helped in putting together the materials we used, those who helped set up the booth, and to those who took time to "man" the booth and visit with members of our community!  We provided almost 100 copies of the US Constitution, candidate website information, and other items of political interest to visitors to our booth
